My background as a writer is quite unique. My love of words began early, reading late at night by lamplight under the quilt (I know, I'm a cliche), and I should have pursued a writing career right from the start. But back then the paying work was in journalism or publishing - neither of which had many opportunities in Adelaide, South Australia. So, after living in the UK for a few years, I spent two decades in the travel industry, helping people turn a vague idea of a holiday into a real experience they could look forward to. I learned that the right words can create excitement, build trust and help people imagine what’s possible. Now, I bring that same love of communication into my writing and editing work, helping people share their ideas, expertise and stories clearly. While I have a special connection to travel professionals, I work with anyone who has something worth saying.
